Frequently Asked Questions
Is this room scary?
No. Our family friendly rooms are designed to be fun, adventurous and immersive rather than frightening. There are no jump scares, gore or horror elements. If you want a darker, high stress challenge, we recommend The Collector room.
Can kids under 5 play?
For safety and enjoyment, our puzzles are designed for ages 4 and up. Kids under 4 are welcome to come along as part of a family group, but an adult will need to supervise closely, and some challenges may be too advanced for little ones.
What if we get stuck?
You are never left stranded. If you want help, hints can be provided when you ask for them so you can keep progressing and having fun. If you prefer to battle it out on your own, tell us early and we will hold back until you request assistance.
Can I book as a solo player?
Yes, of course you can. You are welcome to make a booking as an only player, however we do have a minimum room cost (which is the equivalent of two adult players). We do advise that gameplay can be more challenging with fewer people, but we respect your process! Many solo players or couples enjoy the challenge, but if you prefer to play at a relaxed pace, bring a few extra teammates.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Some of our spaces are accessible, although not all puzzles or areas can be reached with mobility aids. If accessibility is important for your group, please contact us before booking so we can recommend the best room and setup for you.
Will there be staff watching us?
Yes, but not in a creepy way. A game master monitors your progress so we can provide support if you need it and keep everything safe. Think of them as your behind the scenes teammate, not someone looming over you in the room.
Will you give us hints without asking?
We follow your lead. Some groups want help to keep things moving, while others want to solve everything themselves, even if it costs them the win. If you do not want unsolicited hints, let us know at the start and we will only step in if you ask for it.
